Why have a Parent Teacher Association (PTA)?
We are a registered charity with a committee that is run by a core group of people and a number of volunteers.
Without the PTA there are opportunities that cannot be offered to your children such as actors providing fun, educational performances, additional classroom equipment in the form of digital cameras, extra/updated books, storage facilities, improved library, science equipment, playground markings, scooter and boot racks, outdoor play equipment, stage lighting, microphones, etc.
How we communicate with you
We communicate via letters in the children’s book bags, with texts, the notice boards around school, this website, in school ‘Newsletters’ and on the Elm Park PTFA News Facebook page. Make sure to ‘like” our page and keep an eye out for event details and requests for volunteers.
How you can get involved
If you want to get involved, but don’t know how, or just have a general question and can’t get to the committee meetings, please send us a message using the comment box to the right, send us a message through our Facebook page or pass us a message through the office staff.
We are always looking for helpers support, and always put up volunteer sign up sheets in the school reception. We normally do this a week or two before the next event and we will send out texts to let you know they are there.
